Exploring Tableau: A User's Positive Experience
I recently had the opportunity to try out Tableau on a 3-day trial. Initially, I encountered a few hiccups, but the proactive onboarding team at Tableau was quick to step in. They were so confident in their product that they offered me a one-year contract, assuring me of their full support until everything was up and running smoothly. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident when I raised my concerns about the initial issues. They were understanding and even offered to cancel the invoice, extending my trial period. This gesture truly demonstrated their dedication to ensuring a positive user experience. After a few months, the software started working flawlessly, and I was so impressed that I decided to purchase it again. There was a minor confusion regarding the old invoice, but I had written confirmation of its cancellation. I'm confident that this misunderstanding will be resolved soon. I must say, I'm quite taken with Tableau. The product is fantastic, and their business practices reflect a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Despite a few initial challenges, my overall experience has been positive and I'm excited to continue using this software.

Exceptional Support Experience with Tableau
The support for Tableau is absolutely fantastic! I opened a support ticket in November and by March, I had received a comprehensive response. When they do respond, they provide a wealth of resources, linking me to 3 other pages, each one offering a wealth of knowledge that goes beyond my original question. It's like having a personal library at my fingertips!

Experiencing Tableau: A Journey in Visualization and Customer Service
Tableau software is an incredibly powerful tool for crafting visualizations! I've found that their customer service can be a bit of a mixed bag, but it's all part of the journey. Sometimes, my tickets take a little longer to resolve, but it's always a surprise when they do. It's like a little unexpected gift in my inbox! I also get to meet a new AE quite often, which is always an exciting opportunity to make new connections. It's a unique experience, and I must say, Tableau's customer service is unlike any other I've encountered.

An Adventure in Patience: Navigating Tableau's Technical Service
Tableau's technical service is truly a test of patience, but it's an interesting journey. It's been over three weeks and we're still eagerly awaiting their technical assistance. The sales team assures us that this is their standard response time - a bit of a wait, but with the exciting anticipation of a call back. Our sales representative even offered us an enhanced service package. Their standard service is a unique experience, with a rating that leaves room for improvement. I can't help but wonder if the enhanced plan would offer a slightly better rating? As a company worth less than $25M, we feel like we're on a thrilling adventure. We're even considering exploring other BI applications. If we decide to stick with Tableau, we're ready to embrace their unique service style and become more self-reliant. It's all part of the fun!

Observations and Expectations: The Impact of Salesforce's Acquisition on Tableau
Ever since Salesforce took over Tableau, there's been a noticeable shift in their product quality and support, which I find quite intriguing. I've observed some of their top-notch employees moving on, which I believe is a great opportunity for fresh talent to bring in innovative ideas. There have been instances where my cases took a few weeks to resolve, but I see this as a testament to their thoroughness and commitment to providing comprehensive solutions. My account manager seems to have transitioned to a different team, and while I miss our interactions, I'm excited to build a relationship with my new point of contact. I'm looking forward to seeing how these changes will positively impact my experience with Tableau in the future!

Essential Instrument for In-depth Examination of Large-scale Data
For the past few years, I have been using Tableau in a classroom setting and am excited to apply its dynamic features for business intelligence in a professional environment. I believe it offers numerous features that would greatly assist any business in deeply analyzing market data, understanding trends, visualizing and predicting business trajectories, and mitigating risks before they occur. I have only used Tableau for learning purposes in a classroom setting, specifically in a course unit called Actuarial Modelling, which involves deep data management. I appreciate many of its features and found it easy to get acquainted with. Creating a dashboard is engaging and the user experience is straightforward. I can access Tableau from my mobile phone, which allows me to complete my data analysis assignments even when I'm away from school. In terms of functionality, it connects with data sources, particularly Excel CSV, which is our main data repository. From there, I can clean the data, categorize it for simplified analysis using the bin function.

The Most Terrible Customer Service Experience
Since being acquired by Salesforce, the quality of service from Tableau has significantly declined. The response time from account representatives has increased and the overall service level has become one of the worst I've ever experienced. As a result, I have switched to using Looker.

Embracing Tableau: A Game-Changer in Metrics Analysis
I appreciate how Tableau enables me to effortlessly view my metrics and compare them with my colleagues to pinpoint areas for enhancement. It simplifies the task of interpreting employee statistics, like how our members engage with our product, in a well-structured way. The only drawback is that it can occasionally be slow to load, which I understand could be due to the volume of data being processed.

Tableau: Streamlining Data Visualization with Ease and Efficiency!
I find Tableau to be a highly intuitive and user-friendly software. I recommend it for a range of visualization tasks, from basic to complex, as it significantly assists in decision-making with big data. Spotting Potential Hitches with Tableau
I've been using Tableau for several years and I trust its results and functionality. I wish it was quicker and more immediate. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The reporting seems very accurate, which gives me confidence in our weekly, monthly, and yearly results. However, it's very slow to load reports, particularly when results are urgently needed, and the absence of live data is a disadvantage.

Exploring the Versatility and User Experience of Tableau Software
Overall, I value the customization of reports and diverse data visualization options in Tableau. I appreciate the robust online community in the Tableau help forum. I like the functionality of the Tableau Online version, even though some features are exclusive to the desktop version. However, the positioning of certain features varies between the desktop and online versions, which can be slightly confusing.

Quality Tool, Requires Significant Learning Investment
Overall, I consider Tableau a solid BI tool with outstanding visualization capabilities. I use it less frequently now, opting for simpler tools for my daily tasks. It provides numerous tools and features that can be tailored for the necessary visualization. Many complex visualizations are supported right away. However, the learning curve is quite steep. I had to invest a considerable amount of time to learn how to use Tableau effectively due to its high level of configuration.

Harsh Unfriendly Experience
I had a negative, aggressive experience with Tableau. I used to be a big supporter of this software as a data consultant, recommending it to my clients. However, their unreasonable behavior during a client's renewal, including threats of debt collectors, has changed my opinion. I will now advise everyone to avoid them. This short-sighted move over a single license renewal has cost them a client and my endorsement. Stay away!

An Enthusiastic Review of Tableau: A Worthwhile Investment
I absolutely adore Tableau! It's such a fantastic tool. The fact that it's a subsidiary of Salesforce is actually quite impressive. Given the cost of the Tableau license, it's clear that it's a premium product. I must say, it's quite an investment worth making!

Clear Visibility Across Multiple Objectives!
I love Tableau's capabilities, but I wish it was easier for me to use. I often depend on my more experienced team members to create anything new. Its excellent visualization capabilities allow me to see how I'm performing against this year's goals on multiple objectives and our year-over-year progress, without having to handle the raw data myself. I value that Tableau can update the data source with the latest information each time I open the dashboard. However, it takes time and a lot of practice to understand how to set up the worksheets to answer my questions. The dashboards are even more complex.

My Tableau Experience in Conjunction with Salesforce
My experience with Tableau, in conjunction with Salesforce, has been somewhat mixed. I appreciate its user-friendly interface and the variety of visualization options it offers, which make diving deep into data and discovering insights a breeze. However, the cost can be a barrier for those with smaller budgets, and data preparation can be challenging. Additionally, some custom data connectors may be necessary. I have written a comprehensive review of the Tableau app, including guidance and conclusions, on SFApps.info, where I am an author. This could be useful for anyone who is unsure.

Top-tier Visualization Tool: Tableau
I am really impressed with how Tableau operates. It's as simple as dragging and dropping fields in an Excel pivot table. Additionally, Tableau prevents me from creating incorrect charts. I appreciate how easy it is to upload and prepare data visualizations, charts, graphics, and dashboards. It's compatible with main data files like text crv, xls, and Google sheet documents. They offer a free version with the main functionalities, which is perfect for a small business like mine. If I need to upgrade to a paid version, the process is straightforward. I find their forums and community very supportive, helping me improve, learn, and develop great visualizations. Like any other solution, it requires some investigation and learning to understand how it works and how to prepare robust presentations in Tableau. Some older versions don't allow rollbacks. There are some sharing and analytic challenges, and I hope they develop additional features. I chose Tableau because once I started working with it, I wouldn't switch to another.
