Experiencing a Nightmare through Stripe Atlas
Update: The response email from Stripe directed me back to the same Support Team that has been unhelpful so far. The email address they provided doesn't work. If I could, I would give this review negative stars. Dealing with Stripe Support via email has been a nightmare. I have repeatedly requested a call back because after 18 months of having an account, support suddenly needs to verify that the non-profit association is legitimate. I have submitted the required paperwork multiple times, only to receive the same templated response asking for the same documents again. I was informed that Stripe is not equipped to contact anyone by phone. Stripe has stopped depositing funds into the account and is holding the funds until the account can be verified. They were more than happy to process over 1k last year for this association, but now that money is coming in quickly this year, they are holding it. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

For 5 weeks, I was unable to issue refunds to customers who paid via SEPA direct debit using Stripe Atlas. Despite contacting Stripe support about this issue for 4 weeks, they were unable to resolve this significant problem, causing considerable damage to my company. Many customers were left waiting for their refunds, leading to cancellations and negative reviews. Despite being assured that the issue was being addressed urgently, it remained unresolved. I was extremely disappointed with the company's inability to perform a simple function like issuing a refund. I even considered taking legal action due to the damage caused. However, after 5 weeks, the problem was finally fixed. Although I believe it took too long, I am relieved that I can now issue refunds.

By default, users remain logged in for a week, and payments can be made with a single click. I logged in for the first time in weeks today and wasn't asked for multi-factor authentication.
