      I've been using SaloniQ for three years now and it's been a game changer. It's full of features, some of which I'm still learning to use. It allows me to book appointments quickly, adjust times and dates with a simple click, and find clients in various ways. If a client's name appears twice by mistake, I can easily merge the records. The chat support is always ready to help and responds quickly. The end-of-day cashing up process is simple and there are multiple ways to correct any mistakes. The system is designed for easy and quick navigation. My only wish is for chat histories to be saved for longer periods. The vendor responded to my review in January 2019, expressing appreciation.

      I find SaloniQ to be an excellent and powerful hair and beauty software system. It's user-friendly and comprehensive, making it an invaluable tool for my business. It's the first cloud-based salon software I've used, having previously used iSalon for 18 years. I find the cloud-based system superior as it's accessible from multiple devices and can be used on another computer if one fails. We have two computers at the reception in our salon, one in the office, another on the salon floor, and we can also access it from iPads and iPhones. The software is packed with features, more than I even use. However, if the internet is down, there's no access to the system. A fast internet connection is required to operate the system efficiently, with over 10 Mbps being the minimum. If the internet isn't good, the system can be very slow. The vendor responded to my concerns about speed, suggesting that the issue might be with my internet connection.

      I am currently transitioning to the hub and all my stylists are using tablets, which is enhancing our guest experience. The software is excellent in terms of updates and improvements, making it responsive to business needs. The management aspect is fantastic, enabling me to motivate my team and maintain strict control over finances, stock, and clients. The GAS feature is brilliant and has been the most effective tool in growing my business. I value the GDPR feature, which, along with the tablets, demonstrates our professionalism to our clients. Having worked with computerized salon management systems for 22 years, this is by far the best. However, I find the support to be lacking. I prefer speaking to someone directly to resolve issues rather than waiting for a chat response. I would also appreciate more education on the more complex features to maximize the system's use. I would love a feature for staff clocking in and out and a timesheet linked to Xero.

      I had a dreadful experience with Saloniq. For three weeks, I was left without a working system and I deeply regret choosing this software. I think it might work if installed correctly, but the installation team was a nightmare. They showed no interest in helping me resolve the issues. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't get it installed and the IT help was useless. I received no support from Salon iq. When I complained, they claimed that their trainer left my business on the launch day with a fully functioning system and that my staff was trained to use it. They also said that the online booking feature, which wasn't working, is set up after the main system is built and that I failed to cooperate with them to set it up. They blamed the delay on a website company in a different country, with which they had no relationship, for not following their instructions and not clearing the cache. This response was given in December 2019.

      Fantastic! From the introduction, to training, to the Facebook group, support chat, everything about SalonIQ is amazing. It's an intuitive software that is absolutely essential for salons in today's society. It has been a lifesaver during the lockdown and Covid-19. Honestly, I don't know how I would have managed without it! Life is so simple using it and it has made my business function much more professionally. I've even been able to start online bookings, which is amazing and frees me up to work. The support is also fantastic, the team is like a family and nothing is too much trouble. In fact, if something is missing that I think would benefit the system, they create it! And all for a third of the price of their competitors. I love SalonIQ. There are two versions and not all features are on both systems. It's not a big deal because it's easy to switch between the two, but it would be good if there was just one version.
