I frequently need to edit a large number of vendor PDF forms that are sent to us. pdfFiller has been a game changer, saving us both time and money with its features, which are perfectly suited to our needs, unlike other programs that offer too many unnecessary features. It's user-friendly and provides the basic features needed to edit, sign, and create customizable forms. Initially, creating a customizable form was somewhat challenging, but it became much simpler after I followed the 'How To' instructions. We switched to pdfFiller because we were paying for features we never used with Acrobat. While most companies need a PDF editing software, they may not require all the advanced features that Acrobat Pro offers.

An Enormous Time Sink
I had a dreadful experience with pdffiller. I spent countless hours creating a 60-page, downloadable, fillable PDF with URL links throughout, only to find out that the links don't function when downloaded. I've previously used two other PDF editors without this problem. It appears the only way to maintain the functionality of the links is to permanently host the document on pdfFiller, forcing users to give personal information to access it and necessitating an ongoing subscription. This is unacceptable for both myself and my client. As a contractor, this issue has cost me over $500 in lost income and now I have to start from scratch with a different software. Despite the software being relatively easy to use with a straightforward interface, it's impossible to create a downloadable, fillable PDF with working URL links. The only alternative is to keep the document hosted on pdfFiller, which I find utterly unacceptable and bordering on a scam. I switched to pdfFiller in search of a more user-friendly and cost-effective solution.

PDFfiller Outperforms Adobe: A Cost-Effective Alternative
I find pdffiller to be good for simple document editing, such as adding signatures. I was able to edit and print my documents using my native software and android phone. Unlike Adobe, which insists on using their product only, with PDF filler I was able to get everything done without any issues. I initially used it on a trial basis for free, although I wish they had informed me about this from the start to save me the trouble of going back to purchase. However, this wasn't a big issue. I chose pdfFiller because it was a better deal price-wise. I switched to pdfFiller from Adobe because the cost of all the different Adobe apps I needed was too high. Pdf filler was a cheaper alternative.
