I've been using this accounting software and its bookkeeping services for nearly seven years. LessAccounting has allowed me to focus on my core tasks by keeping my finances organized. The invoicing feature is a huge help in collecting payments from clients quickly and easily. Setting up integration with my bank and most commonly used services was straightforward. They have recently made significant improvements that have addressed some past issues. I chose LessAccounting because other services seemed excessive for my needs and it fit my budget.

The staff and support teams at LessAccounting are excellent! I really don't like accounting, but I love this product! Once I upload and categorize my bank statements in the app, the accounting practically does itself. I even set up an account for my CPA who can easily access what he needs from the program to prepare my taxes. It's incredibly simple! This software provides everything I need, including a time tracker for my hours that integrates with invoicing. I chose LessAccounting because of the company's personality and the user-friendly product, perfect for a non-accountant like me!

Excellent Tool for Small Business Accounting Management
I'm really satisfied with lessaccounting. It's easy to use and the customer service is very responsive. It's a great tool for keeping a small business organized. However, I've noticed some issues with the account syncing and auto-categorizing features. The vendor responded to my feedback, saying they've recently partnered with a new bank to improve the reliability of bank connections. They responded in March 2020.

I first selected LessAccounting in 2012 for its unique automation features. I kept using it because of its outstanding customer service. However, I had to stop when my company was bought by another that used a different platform, since LessAccounting didn't integrate with some of the newer platforms.

I appreciate the excellent support from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. I enjoy that LessAccounting provides everything I need and excludes what I don't. I would prefer improved integration with the editable areas of invoices/proposals. I chose LessAccounting over FreshBooks because it feels more personalized and crafted. I switched to LessAccounting as it's easier to use and feels more like a family-run business than a corporation.

Superior Choice Over Quickbooks: LessAccounting
I have a highly favorable view of LessAccounting. I find it superior to Quickbooks and Zero, which I've previously used. LessAccounting is simpler to operate and manage. Quickbooks and others were overly complex for my requirements and their support was inadequate and perplexing. However, LessAccounting provides much better support. The interface was somewhat outdated, but it has been upgraded and is now very appealing. I transitioned to LessAccounting because Quickbooks was too confusing, slow, and its support was insufficient.

For several years, I had a great experience with Lessaccounting. However, recently, I've been facing issues with account syncing and reauthentication, despite not changing any login details. The lack of response from the support team has exacerbated the situation. I used to appreciate the automation in downloading statements and the quality of support was excellent. The company's sense of humor made interactions enjoyable. However, over the past year, the support team has been unresponsive and the software isn't performing as well as it used to, which is distressing. I'm currently seeking a better provider. The vendor responded to my feedback, stating that they've made progress over the past year. They've improved their platform with a new banking integrator for stable bank connections and have doubled their customer support and bookkeeping team. They now handle most customer requests within minutes, 20 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I find LessAccounting to be flexible and useful in understanding my expenses and income. It helps me know what to report to various state and local agencies for revenue. The learning curve was minimal for me. As someone who didn't have access to a CPA in the early stages of my business, Less Accounting has been keeping me updated with my books through their bank account and credit card integration. I've found that even large, well-known brands aren't as easy to use and some lack recurring invoicing, a feature that Less Accounting has had since 2010. I would love to see a mobile app in the future. I chose LessAccounting because it's simple, fast, and nimble with a small learning curve.

I generally find LessAccounting to be good, except for its invoicing and reporting features. I value its expense tracking, account reconciliation, and project tags. However, I find creating invoices challenging. I still use FreshBooks for estimates and invoicing, then import them into LessAccounting. I find FreshBooks' invoicing much simpler, more intuitive, and requiring fewer steps. The invoicing process in LessAccounting seems backward to me. Additionally, there's no option to compare this year's revenue and profits with last year's in the reporting feature. I believe this should be a basic feature in any accounting package, as it's crucial to see where my business stands compared to previous periods. I chose LessAccounting for its online accessibility and overall ease-of-use for expense tracking. I switched from QuickBooks because it was slow, cumbersome, and didn't work on Macs. It was also highly complex to use for invoicing and reporting.
