      Selecting Dayforce: A Smart Choice?

      Overall, Dayforce has been able to meet my needs and the support team is always available when I have questions. My TAM has made the transition to Dayforce smooth and turned my daily issues into learning and resolving opportunities instead of frustrations. Dayforce is the closest I could find to a one-stop solution that still meets my needs. Having so much data in one place allows for powerful reporting. However, I wish Dayforce had an internal ability to electronically sign documents, as it would make setting up and maintaining onboarding documents much easier. I switched to Dayforce HCM because I was a previous Ceridian Source customer who left due to ACA needs, but was unhappy with the support at ADP and was happy to return to Dayforce.

      I appreciate Dayforce HCM for its aesthetic and uncluttered interface. It provides efficient and instant payroll processing and is constantly improving with new features. This software has eliminated many of our company's manual processes, streamlining our human resources, payroll, benefits, time tracking, recruiting, and onboarding processes. This has boosted our productivity, profitability, and morale. Initially, I was not a fan of the reporting as it was all in PDF format and lacked flexibility. However, they have made significant improvements in this area over the past three years. The V2 reporting now allows for more customization. Since we switched to Dayforce HCM, we no longer need paper records. Our employees now have full access to their own data and time through the portal and app.

      I have not found a single thing to like about Dayforce. Since the start of our implementation process, we have been dealing with constant issues. We encountered problems with incorrect system configuration, including confidential data being accessible to lower level employees. Dayforce support staff informed us that our system was not set up correctly. Our implementation manager did not properly address our concerns, leaving us with many unresolved issues and unanswered questions. Despite scheduled follow-up meetings, the manager consistently failed to show up. After weeks of unanswered emails and unsuccessful attempts to solve problems, our implementation manager told us she needed permission to bill us for more hours, which was why she hadn't been communicating with us. Seven months after implementation, our benefits file feeds are still incomplete. Despite our immediate request after implementation, this vital part of our system is still not fully functional. The ongoing issues greatly impede our productivity, particularly with our complex payroll setup. Dayforce's payroll segment has demonstrated a lack of accountability, especially in their response to our 401(k).

It would be fantastic if they could be separated directly within the software. We switched to Dayforce HCM because it serves as our primary HRIS, functioning as both our ATS and our performance and rewards management system. I switched to Dayforce HCM because it consolidates all of my important work in one place, saving me a lot of time. Everything I need is easy to find and I don't even need help to get started.
