BlueJeans Meeting is a top-notch cloud-based video conferencing platform that I find extremely easy to use for hosting video meetings. The Dolby Voice positional audio, dynamic sound leveling, and background noise suppression features ensure that I can hear everyone clearly. I appreciate the convenience of adding a video or audio call to any Google, Microsoft Outlook, Robin, or FreeBusy calendar invite with just a click, without the need for a PIN, conference ID, or password. I can join or lead meetings from anywhere with an internet connection using a compatible device. Whether I'm in the office or on the go, I can easily host or join meetings using the simple desktop or mobile software. I also have the option to use a supported browser without the need to download any additional software or add-ons. I can share my screen with others during the meeting to foster participation. However, I find it disappointing that despite being able to share videos between participants, BlueJeans doesn't allow me to send simple files or documents. Some long-time users have also reported that the content isn't always clear.

Overall, I often find myself frustrated with Bluejeans-meeting due to occasional audio issues at crucial moments. While it doesn't happen all the time, it's frequent enough to leave a negative impression. Despite knowing that connection quality can affect performance, I question Bluejeans when other similar software works fine under the same conditions. The software generally performs well for multiparty video conversations, presentations, and recordings, and it's easy to include various participants in calls. I also find it simple to use my 'personal' standing meeting or set a special code for a named meeting. However, I've never experienced really good quality audio and video, regardless of the connection I use. I often encounter latency and breakups where other platforms like Hangouts or Facetime perform flawlessly. The chat window is hidden and rarely used, and I have no control over who I see. I also frequently encounter other issues.

I've been using BlueJeans Meeting and I must say, it's quite an interesting software! Although I noticed that the screen sharing feature doesn't quite sync with Linux (wayland), I'm hopeful that this is something that can be improved in future updates. One unique aspect of BlueJeans Meeting is their customer support. I found it quite fascinating that I couldn't delete my account on my own and had to reach out to their team for assistance. At first, I received an automated response which was a bit off the mark, but it was quickly followed up by a human representative who was able to assist me in deleting my account. This experience showed me that BlueJeans Meeting really values human interaction and personal assistance, which is quite refreshing in this digital age. It's a bit unconventional not to allow new users the ability to control and cancel their data, but it also ensures that you have a real person to guide you through the process. I'm looking forward to seeing how BlueJeans Meeting evolves and improves in the future!

Solid Performance, Potential for Enhancement
I use BlueJeans for extensive communication between our headquarters and our global operating companies. It's also utilized by our sales teams in larger countries for sales calls. BlueJeans integrates well and stably with Outlook, including O365, and scheduling calls with the plugin is straightforward. Although the development of features was slow from my perspective, BlueJeans has added many new features in the past year, making it a strong competitor again. The admin features are impressive, including the command center, which provides valuable insights into users, meetings, and trends. Importantly, it can connect anything to a meeting, including apps, dial-in calls, room systems, and even other platforms. However, video and audio seem more out of sync than with other solutions and it requires more bandwidth. The background image option causes high CPU usage. On the admin side, more reporting on users and sync between user management and command center usage reports would be beneficial. I chose BlueJeans Meetings mainly because of our complex.

Two stars for ease, none for quality and control.
I gave two stars for the convenience of BlueJeans Meeting. It allows legacy VC systems to have basic access to MS Teams meetings, but that's about it. The quality isn't great and there are issues with screen sharing. It's not worth the money. The company itself is terrible. My organization received a renewal invoice from Verizon via physical mail without my consent or a quotation. The invoice wasn't addressed to me, the account holder, so it went unread for months. No one answers the phone or returns calls. Account managers don't stick around, so there's no one to hold accountable. Verizon's takeover has been a disaster. The account management is terrible and after I complained about the services and management, they tried to sell me more subpar BlueJeans services! I can't even cancel the services mid-term and get a pro-rata refund. I advise against bothering with BlueJeans and especially Verizon. Instead, upgrade your VC equipment to Teams Rooms. I recommend the Yealink MVC86 bundle for large rooms or the A3 bundle for smaller rooms.

The meeting recording feature is useful for reviewing lengthy or important meetings. However, I've noticed that the connection can lag when there are too many participants, such as over 15-20. I also wish BlueJeans had a microphone filter software, as poor microphone quality can negatively affect the meeting experience.
