Airmeet - Delivering Beyond Expectations and Promises
I am extremely satisfied with the support provided by Airmeet. I love the ability to 'jump on to a support table' at any time and get my questions answered in real time. We've started using Airmeet as our primary online working platform, significantly improving our team's remote work capabilities and growth. This has positively impacted our business. We've already hosted a few events and particularly enjoy the networking and social lounge features, which have allowed our guests to make new connections. This has received positive feedback. We're now planning larger scale events with partners and sponsors, which is a new venture for us. In terms of branding, I would appreciate access to templates to ensure we get it right the first time. We chose Airmeet for its affordability, continuous development, and the new opportunities it has provided for our online events and presence. We switched to Airmeet because it is more flexible and easier to use, and we absolutely love it.

Airmeet has surpassed my expectations. I utilize it for networking events and career fairs, where each booth is represented by a virtual table in the social lounge. Many have shown interest in using Airmeet for their own events due to its user-friendly interface and easy event setup. The platform has been used for career events and fairs, and we've received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Users feel that the social lounge effectively simulates an in-person career fair in a virtual setting. However, there are a few areas for improvement. These include allowing full participant profiles to be viewable by attendees, enabling the sharing of PDFs or resumes at virtual tables, allowing messages to be pinned in the chat window, enlarging the table chat window or adding it to the side of the video screen, allowing blurred or digital video backgrounds, and enabling customization of the registration fields. I switched to Airmeet from Easy Virtual Fair due to the latter's poor customer service and high cost. Airmeet is less expensive, easier.

After they secured a significant amount of funding, they made some changes to their terms and contracts. As an early adopter, I was a bit taken aback as some of the features promised in the AppSumo deal were not immediately available. However, I have faith in Lalith, the founder, who has always come across as trustworthy. I believe that he and his team are working hard to deliver on their promises. I'm confident that the company values its loyal customers and will continue to show integrity in their dealings. However, there is one drawback - the speaker doesn't get to see anyone on the screen while talking, which can feel like talking to a mirror. I chose Airmeet because of its affordable pricing and pay-per-event model, which meant I didn't have to worry about not utilizing a subscription. The additional features that mimic the offline meetup experience, such as virtual tables and the ability to switch tables to connect with others, made the choice easier and made my life as a community manager easier during these tough times.

Initially, there were some changes to the terms of the agreement, including the removal of the plan I purchased from their website. Great Product, Yet Too Complex for Our Community
We had simple requirements and found Airmeet to be a feature-rich product. However, our community was used to the simplicity of Zoom and didn't want to switch platforms. We respected their preference and returned to Zoom, even though Airmeet's free tier was more than enough for our needs. Our Techcelerate community found Airmeet too complex to use, which led us back to Zoom, even if it meant paying for it. We initially chose Airmeet because it was free while we were paying for Zoom, but we eventually stopped using it for the reasons mentioned.

The Airmeet smartphone app is also a bonus, allowing people to participate from their mobile devices. I also appreciate the control Airmeet gives me over the stage, including the ability to hide/unhide participants, enable/disable reactions and polls, adjust video & audio settings, add closed captions, and alter the resolution of live streams. However, there are a few minor issues I would like to see changed. For example, if I want to host an event as myself, I have to add myself as both the host and a speaker, which seems a bit strange.
