All I have to do is integrate the source repository, and Vercel takes care of compiling, deploying, and providing an endpoint to access the deployment. It supports most frontend and backend frameworks, eliminating my concerns about scalability or server costs. It also includes CICD pipelines for automatic deployment of my commits. However, I wish it had a feature that allows me to create a custom endpoint for secondary branch commits.

Vercel simplifies the building and deployment process, cutting our build times to less than 3 minutes. It provides many useful features like Cron jobs, which have streamlined our building process. However, the cost can be high. I don't think you need a pricing plan to fully benefit from Vercel, but it might be necessary if you're scaling. Restrictions like only being able to run Cron jobs once a day can be limiting. We switched to Vercel because it let us deploy our networks and servers as one package.

I've also found Vercel's functions plan to be more generous than Netlify's, and its CDN slightly faster. However, I did find Vercel's UI a bit more complicated than Netlify's. I switched from GitHub pages to Vercel because it offered greater speed and versatility.

While there are other options out there, none of them provide the same complimentary tier and developer experience that Vercel does.
