We decided to modernize our online learning technology to make it more engaging for our users. We needed a new system that could handle the scale, customizations, and had the flexibility we required. After a comprehensive evaluation, we chose Thought Industries and have been extremely satisfied with our decision. The platform and the team are excellent to work with, providing everything we need for our continuing/professional education offerings. The platform offers robust features and flexibility, with new features being introduced every month. We can use the platform in various ways unique to each learning business. The eCommerce functionality and monetization options are also beneficial as we offer our courses in different ways across all our sites. The platform is solid, enabling us to build and launch new learning sites quickly. The in-course learning experiences have significantly improved for our users. There are cheaper alternatives, but in my experience, Thought Industries offers the best value.

I've been able to deliver more training and distribute it easily through Thought Industries. The platform has saved us manpower by automating tasks like certificate creation. The purchasable content has been the most beneficial feature for our organization. We initially used this platform for internal training, but began using it for client training when COVID hit. Before Thought Industries, we manually created certificates, sometimes hundreds at a time, so this has been a significant time-saver. However, some features are overly customizable and can be confusing. I also find the software quite expensive. I'm unsure why we chose Thought Industries, but I appreciate their responsiveness to my feedback.

Regretting Our Choice of Thought Industries
I am extremely dissatisfied with Thought Industries. I can't find a single positive aspect about this software. I regret choosing it due to its lack of necessary features and difficulties with implementation. I've had issues with configuring the software, grading discussions, integrating media, and developing pages, among other things. I was promised flexibility and full access to change whatever I needed, but none of this was true. I had to hire multiple people and work around numerous issues to get the software to function even remotely like a normal Learning Management System (LMS). The vendor responded to my complaints, expressing their eagerness to work with me to resolve the issues. They pointed out that other Higher Education vendors have given positive reviews and believe that Thought Industries can be a successful solution for my business.

Thought Industries: A Collaborative Partner, Not Just a Vendor
Overall, my experience with Thought Industries has been excellent. The team, particularly the customer care and technical support groups, have been fantastic to work with. They've assisted us in transitioning from our old LMS and resolving technical issues. I view them more as partners than vendors. Now that our system is operational, we're utilizing more of Thought Industries' features. I particularly appreciate the organization of the content, the ease of assigning settings, and the simplicity of assigning access and using panoramas to keep different audiences organized. However, we're struggling to get a stable certification exam running on the system. I also wish the details page was always visible, regardless of the user's subscription model, and that the "back" arrow in the left-hand navigation was a true "one page back" button. We switched to Thought Industries because SAP owns one of our competitors. I value the vendor's response and their commitment to addressing our concerns.
