      As a Paycom user, I find it efficient, reliable, and ideal for smaller organizations. It's accessible not only on computers but also on all employee mobile phones, allowing employees to access their payroll documents. It enables the completion and storage of onboarding documents, trainings, time management, paystubs, tax papers, and more, saving time and improving efficiency. However, there are some issues with updating time punch change requests on both the employee and supervisor screens, which can cause over corrections due to lag. Additionally, accessing the Paycom time clock can be time-consuming, potentially causing late clock in/out. Despite these issues, I rate Paycom 5 stars for simplifying our payroll needs.

The training is conducted in one to two-hour sessions, allowing me to maintain focus. All sessions are recorded for future reference. The software also includes easy-to-navigate help documentation. After completing the training, I was assigned a dedicated specialist team, who are easily reachable.

      Avoid Squandering Precious Time on This Product

      I discovered that Paycom doesn't provide a demo account like many of its competitors, forcing me to rely on a brief 1-hour demo from a salesperson, which didn't fully showcase the system's capabilities. While the employee interface was acceptable, the HR and Admin management side was extremely complicated and difficult to set up, requiring a lot of my effort to make it work. Many promises made during the sales pitch were not fulfilled. The transition and payroll teams I worked with were inexperienced, lacked payroll knowledge and understanding of their own system, and I found myself guiding them through several issues I didn't anticipate. Our employees were not set up correctly and products I paid for were not accessible on our account. I quickly realized that this system was not suitable for our team and decided to cancel our account. The customer service was quite terrible, even at the upper management level.

      My experience with Paycom comes from my previous job, so I understand how the system operates. However, I've noticed my colleagues, who lack my experience, often have difficulties using the system as intended. They struggle to get clear and consistent instructions on how different modules should work from various departments within Paycom.       I find the setup for education and training materials on Paycom very straightforward. Its payroll handling is excellent and the tracking of documents and training is impressive. I particularly enjoy the paycheck approval feature, which I find very user-friendly for employees. However, I think it could improve by allowing the creation and sending of more detailed surveys and reports. I switched to Paycom because my previous software wasn't fulfilling the needs of my practice. I appreciate the vendor's positive response to my review.

      Joined Paycom in January - My Review

      I've been using Paycom since January 222 and initially found it refreshing after a poor experience with ADP while onboarding over 5 employees. I appreciated Paycom's technology and the dedicated specialist provided. However, by 223, I had been assigned four different specialists without explanation, and the service quality declined with each change. When I informed Paycom that I would be terminating their services due to organizational changes, the service quality dropped even further. I was told I would only have system access for three days post-termination, which was surprising as I still have access to my 221 ADP account. I ended up paying $5 for 9 days of extended access, but they refused to extend it to the new year, leaving me to mail out all the W2s to my employees. I'm disappointed with how my relationship with Paycom ended.
