Excellent Software at an Affordable Price!
I really enjoy using the MainStreetSites software. It's quite affordable, especially for a new studio like mine. I find it incredibly useful in organizing my students, classes, and monthly tuition. It becomes easy to use once you get the hang of it, and their support staff is fantastic in helping you figure everything out. I wish they could add a feature to organize recitals/performances & costumes like other software programs. However, they have updated the software to include a recitals module to assist with scheduling and managing recitals/performances as of June 2020.

Fast Registration, Smooth Usage, Exceptional Customer Service
I was recommended to use Mainstreet by other founders and they were absolutely correct. It took me just 3 minutes to sign up, integrate with my payroll system, and get notified about receiving the R&D tax credit. The team was extremely responsive to my follow-up questions, addressed my concerns about audit and financials, and provided us with immediate cash instead of making us wait for a year. I compared with other companies, but none offered such a high level of responsiveness and immediate payment.

Thrilled with MainStreetSites Music Together Templates for 3 Years!
MainStreetSites was my original website provider and their service was always exceptional. I was enticed to switch to another company due to their appealing templates and promises of superior functionality, which MainStreetSites honestly confessed would take them longer to develop. However, I regretted this decision as I spent three frustrating years with two different companies that didn't fulfill their promises. I wasted numerous hours dealing with a site that had poor basic functions. Since returning to MainStreetSites, I've been nothing but pleased. They've saved me thousands of dollars in annual credit card fees and they only promise what they can deliver. Their response time to my inquiries, no matter the day or time, is usually within an hour. Their new Music Together templates are modern, sleek, intelligent, and fully functional. Returning to MainStreetSites, a company filled with people committed to making my life easier and my business more efficient and profitable, was the best decision I ever made. However, if you want it to be more enthusiastic and in the first person, here it is: I am absolutely thrilled with my experience with Mainstreet! MainStreet: A Comprehensive Tool for Business Website and Database Management
I appreciate that with MainStreet, I can design my webpage, develop class schedules, offer online registration/payment, receive inquiries through the website, feature an online store, and create customizable fields to obtain unique customer data. Their customer service representatives are courteous and helpful. However, I have some suggestions for improvement: I'd like options for drop-in students to register for single classes, attendance and makeup tracking for individual students, a drop-down menu for multiple enrollment confirmation templates, direct Quickbooks financial linking, easier photo resizing, and tracking options for recitals. I also suggest better training on creating HTML emails and a newsletter template. I'd prefer to upload pictures/files directly from my computer to a newsletter. It would be helpful to receive email descriptions of upcoming revisions and periodic check-ins. The vendor has since added support for drag/drop image upload, paid drop-in classes, and recital management, and posts release notes for each update.

Not the Right Fit for Our Needs
In my quest to find a software that fits our needs, I evaluated several systems, including Mainstreet. Regrettably, this system didn't meet our requirements. It necessitated creating separate classes for each time and session. For example, a class running on Tuesday and Thursday, but with once-a-week enrollment, would need two distinct classes. In our situation, this meant creating hundreds of classes instead of just 20 with multiple schedules. The software didn't adequately support drop-in classes, which we offer for most of our classes. Despite the software's numerous excellent features, this was a deal-breaker for us. However, the vendor informed us that they have since added extensive support for paid drop-ins, including email and text reminders, coupons, and flexible pricing rules as of June 2020.

I've been operating a music studio for 12 years and as my business expanded, so did my requirements. I switched to MainStreetSites about a year ago and it's been the best decision for my business. Their customer service is exceptional, they consistently update their features and are highly responsive to their clients' needs. The transition to the new system was tough, but they were there every step of the way and are always ready to answer my queries via email or phone. I strongly recommend them! I especially value the batch payment process, the individual emailing of tax receipts by year, and the email messaging system. I sometimes find the system's vast capabilities challenging, but their outstanding customer service is always there to assist.
