LambdaTest has greatly simplified the process of testing our web app across various operating systems and browsers. We no longer have to maintain our own virtual machine farm for testing different configurations and scenarios. The features I appreciate the most are its cross-browser and cross-OS capabilities for manual testing. We also plan to use the automation testing features of the software. However, I think the pricing models could be better. There's a significant price jump between the manual or live testing subscription and the automation subscription. Even though I understand this is due to the features required for automated testing, it's still over three times the monthly cost of the manual suite. We chose LambdaTest for its affordability and ease of use. We switched from TestRail because it was too costly for our organization and didn't offer a suitable monthly subscription rate.

Our test execution time for each release was extremely high, particularly since we shifted to remote work. We were in need of a solution to drastically reduce our test execution time and enable faster deployments. Our UI had many API dependencies, leading us to use browser automation testing. By running tests simultaneously on the LambdaTest platform, we were able to cut our testing time from 50 minutes to just 10. This greatly helped our team in getting faster feedback and focusing more on code quality through LambdaTest integrations. LambdaTest solved our main problem of reducing test execution time, significantly improving the feedback loop. The capability to run tests concurrently on a cloud infrastructure is smooth. With the Circle CI LambdaTest integration, we could quickly and continuously run hundreds of tests in our builds. The UI is very user-friendly, and features like test analytics and custom tags make it easy for my team to filter test results. We did face some stability issues while using simulators and communicated these issues to the support team.

Pricing Page Promised 6 Mins/Month Free, Only Received 3 Mins
The pricing page of Lambdatest claims to offer 6 minutes per month with six sessions of browser testing, each lasting 1 minutes, for the free tier. However, when I signed up and logged in, I was kicked out of a test session after just one minute and was informed that I only had two-thirds of the sessions left. The same thing happened when I tried again. Upon asking on live chat, I was told that the free service had been changed to only offer three sessions of two minutes each, even though it only gave me one minute. They also mentioned that they would be updating the pricing page. I noticed another review from last week stating that the free tier had changed. I find it hard to believe that a company would simply forget to update its pricing page after such a significant change in its offering.
