It's a great tool for recognizing colleagues in small or big teams in IT or any other sector. There's a newsfeed where I can view all activity throughout my entire organization, and a section where I can see every praise I sent and received. I no longer need to wait for mid- or year-end approvals to receive management or peer assessment with accolades. I appreciate the variety of options for spending my kudos, and redemption is straightforward. However, I dislike that anyone can see the number of recognitions and honors I have received on my profile. I believe a person should be allowed to choose how many kudos they want to display.

As a user, I feel that everyone requires some form of motivation in their career, and Kudos is among the best software I've come across that offers this encouragement. I remember receiving special recognition from our CEO via Kudos for attending a difficult meeting with a governor during a security crisis when all telecom operators were offline. After my extensive conversation with the governor, MTN was the first operator to be restored, an accomplishment acknowledged by our CEO through Kudos. The software is well-organized into four categories, each with clear instructions and easy to navigate. Honestly, I see no drawbacks to this software.

I chose Kudos because it values recognition over rewards and doesn't show earned points on profiles for everyone to see. I also appreciate the reporting data and cost efficiency. I switched to Kudos because not everyone in our agency had access to the previous platform and the gift items didn't appeal to the team members.
