Dependable and User-Friendly Access Control with Kisi

I am extremely pleased with the Kisi platform. It's a versatile access control solution that operates flawlessly in most situations. I use Kisi for after-hours access control at one of our largest offices, with over 100 end users set up on the app. We've had no complaints or operational issues from a user perspective. As an admin, the service makes it incredibly easy to manage all aspects of the access control solution, from users and permissions to settings like scheduled unlocks. The app is reliable and straightforward, a significant improvement over traditional access cards or keys. However, I wish the gSuite Directory sync was more developed. It's useful for importing users, but it can't sync more than one level deep into our organizational structure. I also wish it had two-way sync or SSO capabilities. Currently, when a user leaves our company, we have to remove them from gSuite and then log in to remove them from Kisi. The vendor has responded.

Centralized Access Control? Kisi Nails It! Plus, 6-Star Customer Support!

My company needed a global access control solution. Previously, we depended on security companies for individual installations and required a person at each location to control access and issue entry cards. We needed a system that could instantly disable access when someone left the organization or was terminated, without relying on the vigilance of the person at the location. Kisi turned out to be the best solution for managing access across multiple locations through a single, easy-to-use administrative portal. The app is user-friendly and the hardware complements it perfectly. Our users appreciate the ease of entry and exit, and our security teams find it simple to enable and disable access. The features I wish Kisi had, such as SAML 2.0 and enhanced administrative control levels, are already in their development pipeline. We switched to Kisi because it met all our needs and their staff was extremely helpful in getting us started. The vendor responded with gratitude for my positive feedback and expressed happiness for meeting our expectations.

Effortless. Simple to Install and Dependable!

I've been recommending Kisi to my clients for years and only started using it internally when we moved into our own office from a co-working space. As an Admin, I find Kisi easy to use and manage, allowing me to add users, create groups, and set custom policies depending on the employee. Despite considering myself the least technical person on our team, I found setting up the hardware in our office straightforward, thanks to the Kisi app and their excellent documentation. The mobile app makes it easy to access our space, and we can even set up physical 'badges' for contractors or external staff who need access but don't want or need to use the Kisi app. Occasionally, the door reader doesn't pick up my device to unlock the door, and if you have an iPhone, putting your device to Kisi's reader will automatically trigger ApplePay. However, this is a device 'feature' rather than an issue with Kisi, and you can always open the app.

Unlocking Modern Office Security with Kisi

I found Kisi to be a more cost-effective solution compared to its competitors when setting up our new office. The administrative portal and features offered by Kisi are modern and user-friendly. They consistently introduce new features and improve existing ones. We never faced any issues with the system and it provided our users with the flexibility to use their phones as keycards. However, I wish they had features for Covid screening. Currently, they only provide capacity management and tracing. It would be useful to have a pre-screening feature for anyone wanting to use our office through the same app they use for access. I chose Kisi over Kastle systems because the latter seemed outdated and more expensive. I believe this is because they don't cater to smaller offices or businesses. We only needed door security for three doors, but their pricing seemed more suited for larger businesses and they couldn't really accommodate us. This was back in 2019, so things might have changed now. The vendor responded to my review.

KISI Software: Effortless Access Meets Reliable Security!

I find the KISI software incredibly user-friendly and my team enjoys the convenience of using an app to access our suite. I also appreciate the feature that allows me to grant temporary access to visitors. Although the system is Wifi-dependent and can be affected when the Wifi is down, it's not a significant problem as it rarely occurs and my regular key still functions. The vendor was receptive to my feedback and informed me that Kisi provides offline support. If the internet connection is lost, Kisi has two backup methods for unlocking doors or elevators: an offline cache on the reader and on the phone.

Delivers as Promised: Kisi's Reliable Keyless Solution

I find Kisi to be an excellent and dependable solution for our coworking space, as it eliminates the need for physical keys. Its admin panel is user-friendly, allowing easy management of users and scheduling of door unlocks. The only drawback is that the system fails if there's a power or internet outage, but this is a common issue with all internet-enabled keyless door access systems. I opted for Kisi because we required a commercial solution with multi-user management, and Kisi perfectly meets our needs. The vendor responded to my review, informing me that Kisi does provide offline support. If the internet is down, Kisi supports two fallback mechanisms for unlocking doors or elevators: offline cache on the reader and on the phone.

Effective System Run by Unethical Operators: A Warning to Gym Owners

I recently purchased a new set of doorlocks for my third outlet, costing over $2000. However, within two weeks of receiving the items and subscribing, I was told by the company that I would be automatically switched to a per user billing from 1st December. This was despite my pre-paid customer contract valid until 1st November 2023, which included a certain number of integrations and users. The day before the forced change, I had about 1,700 users in my database, much less than the 10,000 users I was allowed. Despite this, the forced change in pricing would raise my bill to nearly $2000 per month, a nearly 50x cost increase. I have been using KISI as my preferred access control manager because of their integration with Glofox, our gym management software provider. The integration took a while to set up, but once it was done, it worked well.

Kisi: Pioneering the Future of Access Control

I consider Kisi essential for managing our coworking/event space. With over 100 members, staff, contractors, and regular events, it's the only way to ensure appropriate access. I value the ability to set specific access permissions, like one-day access for event hosts or contractors, or indefinite access with different permissions for after hours or weekend access. The feature to unlock doors remotely via the app has significantly improved my work/life balance, as I no longer need to be on-site to open doors. The only drawback is its reliance on our wifi network, which could be a security issue if the wifi is down. However, the vendor has reassured me that Kisi provides offline support, with two backup methods for unlocking doors or elevators in case of internet loss.

      Exploring Kisi: A User's Perspective

I'm experiencing problems with the Kisi controller as it keeps going offline, hindering my clients from having 24/7 access. Kisi proposed that I buy an extra device costing over $700 or suggested that the issue might be with my internet connection. However, after a technician's inspection, it was confirmed that my internet connection is not the problem, but the Kisi device is. I switched to Kisi because it's the only one that integrates with my new CRM. In response to my issues, Kisi recommended that I install a Kisi reader with offline caching to maintain service during internet downtimes and consider getting a stronger router for a more stable connection. They have pledged to find a cost-effective and efficient solution for me and I should anticipate a Kisi representative to reach out to me for further help.
