      I liked isolved until they introduced an "upgrade" that made it much more difficult to use. I didn't find it user-friendly or easy to navigate. However, after my review, the vendor suggested I try isolved University, a tool offering training and guidance. They also offered to provide me with additional support if I continued to struggle with the system.

      I consider isolved to be a fairly good software with a broad spectrum of features for Payroll, HR, and HCM. However, I find its navigation somewhat cumbersome and more mouse-driven than keyboard-driven, unlike most contemporary software. The New Hire Reporting urgently requires a direct port-in with state systems. I also wish that the My Reports Queue could regenerate frequently used reports instead of having to create them from scratch each time. I wasn't part of the decision-making process to select isolved. I value the vendor's response and their dedication to constantly introduce new features and functionality. They've proposed to offer extra support for the New Hire Reporting, which I might consider.

      I am very pleased with our choice to use Isolved for our payroll, HR and Onboarding. It has greatly simplified our employee processes. I value the simplicity of the Payroll and HR Management platforms, but I find the Report Writing aspect difficult to create my own report. We switched to Isolved after Big Fish merged with them due to the unfortunate passing of the Big Fish owner. Isolved has given me more options for HR resources.

      Top-Notch Payroll Services with iSolved

      I'm generally happy with isolved, but I only utilize a fraction of its features. I'd probably use it more if the setup process was simpler. Each time I want to add a new service, I have to explain my procedures to a new person, which is time-consuming. I believe there should be more efficient setup methods. However, I think isolved was a good investment for payroll services, which are excellent and customizable. The PTO tracking, on the other hand, is subpar. The calculations are often wrong and it's not user-friendly. I can't add multiple days off for the same PTO type in one go and have to make separate entries for each day, which is time-consuming. I switched to isolved because it was recommended through a Sage product.

      I'm not a big fan of isolved; it's quite challenging to use in areas with poor internet connectivity. The procedures often change without any prior notification. The time off tracking feature, both for used and available time, is quite hard to use for certain applications. I transitioned to isolved from another program, but I can't recall its name. The vendor responded to my concerns, apologized for the navigation issues, and offered assistance.
