Top Choice for Property Managers and Short-Term Vacation Rentals
I believe the Hostify software is fantastic! The team is committed and regularly introduces new features. It provides the essential basics for managing short-term properties. However, it doesn't support upselling to guests, which I find would be beneficial. Also, the reporting currency is not consistent, I would prefer if all reporting was in my official currency. The vendor responded to my review, thanked me, and assured me that they are continuously working on adding new features and resolving any problems. They apologized if there were any complications.

Top-tier PMS with Excellent Features and Stellar Support!
My experience with Hostify has been amazing from the start. Even though I was one of their first customers, I didn't experience the typical bugs associated with new software. Hostify offers all the key features of its bigger competitors, and even more, but at a lower cost and with significantly better customer service. It provides standard features like a multi-calendar, unified inbox, automations, and also includes an excellent Wordpress plugin, multi-unit property management, and a Stripe integration with many useful features. The live, friendly, and quick customer support is far superior to other PMS systems I've used before. I highly recommend it! My only minor issue is with the color scheme, but that's not a major problem. The vendor responded to my review in January 2022, thanking me for the five-star rating and expressing their pleasure in working with me. They reassured me that they are here to help my business succeed in every way possible.

24/7 Customer SupportSeriously!?
The advertised 24/7 customer service of Hostify is not as prompt as they claim, with delayed responses due to their call center being located in Indonesia or somewhere similar. Their calendar is also a day behind and they are not available on weekends. A recent pricing mixup was poorly handled by their staff, taking weeks for a direct response with a dismissive attitude. Their 'Housekeeping' notification feature is misleading, only offering week-to-week updates, which is inconvenient as my housekeeping teams need to plan a month in advance. Despite my repeated requests for a fix, I've received no response. For $1 a month, I'm not impressed. Hostify seems more suitable for a small boutique hotel.

My Account Manager is TOP-NOTCH!
I appreciate the UX of Hostify, even though it's not very user-friendly. The service from my account manager is exceptional. However, I've encountered a few problems: 1) The Stripe Integration doesn't function properly, with 9% of my reservations marked as failed or error. 2) The TASKs platform is completely non-functional. Whenever my staff attempts to use it, the app shuts down. The checklists are too short, limited to only 1 items, and the platform is very slow.

As a growing medium-sized company, I found Hostify to be the best tool for automating all operations, channel management, payments, etc. It includes many features in the base product. I chose Hostify over other software due to its clear pricing and advanced features. There were some challenges in getting support from the actual channels during the migration, for example, getting support from Booking.com was difficult. However, the Hostify team assisted through their internal channel. I chose Hostify because of the cost versus features. I switched to Hostify due to difficulties in using multi-unit features and unit assignment. I appreciate the support team at Hostify, they are always there to assist. Overall, I've had a great experience with Hostify.

I've been using Hostify since 2019 and I'm impressed with their quick customer service, available 24/7, even on weekends. They typically respond within an hour, which is outstanding in this field. Hostify has all the necessary features to manage multiple properties across all key OTAs and integrates with most existing services in the industry, such as pricing tools and upsell services. It provides real-time sync between calendars on different channels, preventing double booking issues. I've even had the opportunity to meet them in person at trade shows and request feature implementations. The only drawback is the lack of an app or push notifications, but I currently manage this by receiving emails to stay updated on incoming bookings.

It provides a unified inbox for all messages and delivers excellent customer service. It offers easy management of housekeeping and maintenance, and has the best PMS accounting model. It integrates with major vacation software like Rentals United, Stripe, Pricelabs, and more. It also sends automatic messages to guests, allows report downloads, and provides customer and owner platforms. It has a modern website design and a check-in form. Hostify offers all the features needed to be a successful property manager. However, they need to improve their CRM and rating area.

Disappointing Encounter with Hostify
My overall experience with Hostify was dreadful. I selected it based on its 5-star reviews online, but I now suspect these were either manipulated or written by someone unfamiliar with the software. As PMS software is vital and expensive to replace for a vacation rental business, it's crucial to choose correctly. Regrettably, I was deceived by the reviews. I even contacted their CEO about the problems I was encountering, but he was either incapable of resolving them or they were not a priority for him. Eventually, I switched to another provider, which has been a more positive experience. One of the reasons I initially picked Hostify was its mobile app availability. Choosing Hostify was likely the worst decision I made in my software selection process. I'm humiliated by the poor quality of this software. It was full of bugs that caused constant headaches. Every time they resolved one problem, another would surface. They continually removed our properties from various channels, causing us issues.

I've been collaborating with Hostify since its early stages and we've both grown significantly over the years. Our partnership has been excellent, with the ability to reach out for any doubts, questions, or feedback. The support is exceptional, always providing quick assistance, even on weekends for emergencies. I use the software daily and am extremely satisfied with its functionality, especially the ease of using the multi-inbox and multi-calendar view. However, I wish they could automate some aspects important for local Portuguese regulations, like payment of municipal taxes and passport registration. I switched to Hostify from Smoobu because it was more suitable as a channel manager, not so much as a full PMS. I appreciate their efforts to adapt to different markets and regulations and am excited for new functionalities.
