Disappointing Experience with Freshteam
I haven't found any value in Freshteam despite paying a significant amount. There's no customer support and it's difficult to identify bugs. The development team struggles to fix these issues and often requires me to provide proof and share my screen recordings. The software doesn't sync candidate emails with their profiles, making me constantly check my email. I also can't upload resumes or offer letters in Word format, I have to convert them to PDF first. There are many more problems, but these should give you an idea.

What I value most about Freshteam software is its cost-effectiveness. I started my staffing firm in early 2020, and due to a limited budget and the impact of Covid-19, I needed an affordable software to grow my business. After speaking with a representative, I decided to register for the system. However, after signing up, I discovered that a crucial feature was missing from the package I selected - the ability to post jobs in different cities or states. Currently, my job posting locations are limited. I initially chose Freshteam over other options because of its price, but I'm thinking about switching to JazzHR soon as it provides all the features I need.

Freshteam has greatly reduced my onboarding time. I use it for thorough onboarding and it assists me in staying organized and tracking hiring leads. The user interface is user-friendly and it integrates well with my existing tools, making scheduling and hiring easier. However, navigation can occasionally be challenging. I switched to Freshteam from Recruiter Lite due to its poor user interface and lack of features, even though it was a paid premium version.

My overall experience with Freshteam has been fantastic. When Covid19 started, we were looking for a reliable CRM+ ATS+ HR software. We tried several options but none met our needs. Then, I found Freshteam on Google and decided to try it. Initially, we used it for sales reporting and were impressed by its functionality and easy access. After two months of using it for free, we decided to continue with Freshteam and still use it as our comprehensive software. I appreciate the data download feature, but I think the reporting format could be simpler and more effective. We chose Freshteam because of its pricing and customer support, which I believe are crucial for any software.

I consider Freshteam to be a highly competitive and cost-effective Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Even though we don't utilize the entire software, the ATS part serves us well. It conveniently consolidates everything and the kanban board feature simplifies tracking people's progress in the pipeline. It also integrates smoothly with popular tools like Zoom and facilitates posting job ads on major job boards. There are a few minor features that don't add much value and some automatic email triggers don't function as anticipated, but these aren't significant issues. We selected Freshteam for its price, capability, and because it was the closest ready-made solution to what we envisioned for our ATS.

The time off and employee profile features provide quick access to crucial information, reducing the time our HR staff spends on database searching. The recruitment tracker is clear and concise, facilitating a faster selection process. However, some document features, like the right to work ID, are behind a paywall, which can be expensive for a startup like ours. Overall, the pricing is steep for small startups like us, but we switched to Freshteam because the overall cost and features were superior to Zoho People.
