I feel cheated by Filmora. I purchased a cross-platform license, only to discover it's only for Windows. They declined to refund my money due to their policies and suggested I buy another license. I selected Filmora because they promoted cross-platform compatibility, but it was false advertising. The vendor responded to my complaint, expressing regret for my poor experience and misunderstanding. They found it strange that Filmora would operate in such a manner and offered to look into it further. They requested that I send my ticket number or email them at customercare@wondershare.com, assuring me of priority assistance from their senior support. They responded in December 2023.

I even asked them to provide the previous correspondence I had sent them, as I couldn't find the initial message in my email account. They were quick to provide me with the ticket number, which was a great help. Despite the initial confusion, I appreciate their steadfastness in maintaining their policies while also providing clear communication. Quality Software at a Reasonable Cost
Overall, I find Filmora to be excellent. It's quite fast, easy to learn, and provides enough advanced features to keep me satisfied for years. Each time I create a video, I usually discover a new tool or a new way to use the tools I'm already familiar with. Filmora is not overly expensive, yet it is a comprehensive filmmaking software suite suitable for both amateur and professional filmmakers. I can adjust the footage in almost any way I want, use any transitions that I like, and can work with all the standard file types. For most users, Filmora is more than good enough. There was a time when the software was unstable, but that seems to be the case with most film editors I've used on my less than stellar hardware. I switched to Filmora because PowerDirector is more expensive and has notoriously terrible customer service.
