  • Real devices and simulators: With over 1500 real devices and simulators, Browserstack speeds up the testing process and provides real environments for application testing

  • Cloud-based parallel executions: Browserstack's cloud enables faster deployment of parallel executions compared to other cross-browser testing applications, making the testing process more efficient

  • User-friendly interface: The live testing and UI's are easy to understand, making it easy for users to execute their tasks without any issues

  • Cost-effective: Despite some negative reviews about the pricing, many users find Browserstack to be a cost-effective tool for testing potential issues before software releases.

Cons from reviewers

  • Poor customer service: Some users have reported that Browserstack's customer service can be unresponsive and unhelpful, particularly when it comes to answering basic questions about their services

One of the primary distinctions between LambdaTest and BrowserStack lies in their pricing structures. While LambdaTest provides flexible pricing options starting at a lower entry point, BrowserStack tends to be positioned as the premium solution with higher starting prices. LambdaTest offers plans starting from $19 per month for its basic package, catering to the needs of startups and small teams, and scales up to higher-tier plans. Despite the variance in pricing, both platforms offer competitive features and capabilities to streamline cross-browser testing processes effectively.

Appreciating Browserstack's Straightforward Pricing, Auto-Renewal Feature, and Transparent Policies

I must say, the pricing of Browserstack is incredibly straightforward and they have a convenient auto-renewal feature. This means you don't have to worry about manually renewing your plan every year. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that my plan had been automatically renewed, ensuring uninterrupted service. I hadn't used the product in a while, but the annual renewal fee of over $1, reminded me of the value it provides. Their website is so user-friendly, and instead of a cancel button, they have a more personalized approach. You can simply send them an email if you wish to make any changes to your subscription. This gives you a chance to interact with their responsive customer service team. When I inquired about their refund policy, they were clear and upfront about their strict no-refund policy. This level of transparency is refreshing. I would highly recommend Browserstack. Their business model is based on providing continuous service and maintaining open communication with their customers.

High Cost and Subpar Service: A BrowserStack Review

We utilized Browserstack at a large French company, which I prefer not to name. Our experience was poor due to the lack of a proper wait queue and terrible management of incoming requests. If there were more than five waiting requests, the connections would break at the TCP level. This led to significant CI crashes due to their request management. Additionally, it was very expensive. We switched to a competitor that offered a real waiting queue, less flakiness, no strange behavior, and surprisingly, was half the price. We have not regretted our decision since.

Test Across Devices Without Owning Them All

I have been using BrowserStack for several years and it continues to be the best and most cost-effective tool available. It's excellent for testing potential issues before each software release and reporting back to the developers. It's easy to switch between devices for testing on different browsers and provides a good idea of what things will look like. The pricing is excellent and they are constantly adding new device and browser combinations. I value the support for older devices and browsers, as 5% of our market still uses these. It's also great for testing old versions of Internet Explorer. It enables us to quickly test and check reports of issues from users on our range of in-house solutions and systems. However, it's not always 100% accurate to the device/browser mix and we sometimes need to use a device to check when the issue can't be replicated. This only happens a few times a year.

An Engaging Experience with BrowserStack: A User's Perspective

BrowserStack is an exciting software, especially for users like me who have varying monthly usage needs. It's thrilling to see how they've designed their plans, like the 'freelancer' plan which offers a neat monthly allowance. I love the element of surprise as the allowance isn't visible within the app, it's like a fun guessing game! If you're like me and don't need to use it for several months, it's great because when you do need it, you'll find the allowance gets used up at just the right pace. Their support team is refreshingly unique, they keep you on your toes by providing answers that make you think outside the box about their services. It's a truly engaging experience!

PagBank's Experience with BrowserStack: A Crucial Tool for Development and Testing

I mainly use BrowserStack (BS) to automate our UI tests, which is a vital part of our daily development process. We also utilize BS to test our iOS application on various devices. Recently, we found and fixed a bug in iOS 15, thanks to BS. At that time, our MacOS's weren't updated with BigSur, which hindered us from installing our application with iOS 15 due to Xcode. But, BS came to our aid, enabling us to test, debug, and deliver our app without any bugs. My overall experience with BS has been excellent. What I value most about BS is its simplicity. It's incredibly easy to build our application and test it on multiple devices. The range of different devices available, especially for iOS, simplifies our testing process and bug detection. At PagBank, we enjoy using BS to test our product and ensure we're providing top-notch software to our clients. However, I think BS could improve.

      Exploring Browserstack: A Personal Experience

I was thrilled to take advantage of Browserstack's free trial, which gave me a quick glimpse into its capabilities. Your Go-To for Efficient Cross-Browser Testing: BrowserStack, the Market Leader!

As a tester, Browserstack saves me both time and money. I don't have the resources to test my applications, which is why I rely on Browserstack. It allows me to execute my tasks without any issues and helps me build a better, bug-free product. When creating a web app, I use the cross-browser parallel testing plan due to a lack of in-house resources for testing on multiple platforms with different browsers. The "live testing" and "UI's" are user-friendly and easy to understand. Browserstack provides over 1500 real devices and simulators for executing our workflows, which speeds up our testing process. It offers real environments for testing our applications and allows us to take screenshots during live tests. Browserstack's cloud enables the deployment of parallel executions without delays, making it faster than other cross-browser testing applications. It also offers reliable and secure local testing features. However, there have been a few instances when.

Surprised by the Negative Reviews on BrowserStack

I'm surprised by the negative reviews regarding their billing practices and I empathize with those who have had frustrating experiences. However, my experience has been positive. This is a great interface for testing how my website appears on different devices, something I couldn't do without them. My only issue is that my site doesn't load on some of the test results, which I suspect may be due to my site's load speed. I plan to optimize my website's load time and then revisit this review. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.

Experiencing Secure and Efficient Testing with BrowserStack

I'm absolutely thrilled with BrowserStack! I've been using my subscription quite sparingly due to the unique pace of the Live Testing feature, which gave me ample time to use my credits. Even when I'm not actively using Live Testing, the app continues to run, ensuring I'm always connected. What I find particularly impressive is the security of my payment/card details. Once entered, they can't be manually removed - you have to contact support, which adds an extra layer of safety. Plus, there's no direct cancellation option, everything requires contacting their dedicated support team. This ensures that any changes to my account are handled professionally and securely. If you're considering testing this product, go for it! You might end up pleasantly surprised. Just remember, their support team is always there to assist you with any queries or concerns.

      Decent Product Experience with BrowserStack

The product itself is okay, but the speed isn't great and there are issues connecting local builds to their phones. We've been using it for automated cross-browser tests, which have been unreliable at times, causing build pipelines to fail. This has improved slightly over the past year, but we've recently started exceeding our automated testing minutes on the basic plan, which has never happened before. I suspect they've reduced the available minutes without lowering the plan's price. I've also noticed a significant price increase for the next plan they suggest we switch to - it's gone up by about 1% in two years. I regret spending so much time setting up an automated test environment with their service, given the fluctuating product quality and price. I wouldn't recommend getting too involved with any service or company that increases its prices by 1% in such a short time, regardless of their reasons.
